Welcome to our September issue!

By now, you are all well established in your back-to-school routine. Hopefully, you have had a great beginning of the school year and are excited as we go into September. We are excited to cover a subject that we feel is integral in raising well-rounded children – Kids and the Arts!

Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, Dance, Singing, Instrument Musicianship, Theater and more – the list of items that can spark and nurture your child’s artistic side is vast and varied. The ability to lose themselves in the art of their choice is a great respite to have when the stress of the world gets too much. Most truly successful people I know have an artistic outlet they indulge in.

We are happy to provide a list of artistic opportunities in the school system and the community to help you find the right opportunity for your child.

We also realize it is a good time to check in on your child’s schedule. We have advice on how to make sure they are not too busy or if they have space for other activities.

And, it is fall, which means our high school seniors are looking hard at colleges. We have some advice on those college applications and where to find information on scholarships at their schools! The time to start applying to both is now!

September is National Courtesy Month, so take this opportunity to discuss kindness and manners with your family.

Wishing you a Wonderful September.
