
Flagler Spelling Bee
Caleb Rimpel won the 2020 Flagler Schools Spelling Bee held on January 9, 2020 at Wadsworth Elementary school. The 8th grader from Christ the King Lutheran School was the final speller among 15 other competitors at the end of six rounds and a championship round.
He is headed to the 76th Annual First Coast Spelling Bee to be held in Jacksonville on February 27th. The winner of the regional spelling bee advances to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee scheduled in May in the Washington, DC area.
